ACTS OF COMPASSION HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF FAMILIES
April is Volunteer
Recognition Month
Because of you,
we can, we ARE accomplishing great things!

Volunteers are the lifeblood of what we do at FPOC. Their heart, dedication and understanding brought the program into existence in 2016. Their vision, innovation and "can do'' attitude have enabled the program to continue in the midst of a pandemic. Because of our volunteers, we continue to reach out to families in crisis. Volunteers provide homes for our families by offering food, beds, financial assistance, guidance, support – in short, love. And they do it while having loads of fun!
Come join us! Discover the wide range of opportunities at Family Promise – from serving meals, to providing financial literacy training, to assisting with fundraising events. There is something for everyone! We will partner your talents with our family’s needs. As a team we can help families experiencing homelessness attain sustainable independence.
During Covid volunteers options will be socially distanced and require masks. Some tasks may be done on your own:

“Each time we make room for strangers, we chip away at the fear and isolation and heartbreak in our world. We also get to participate in something that is life giving, both to us and the people we welcome.”
