Dave Sahr brings over four decades of experience in Information Technology and Data Analytics to his role at Family Promise. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Potsdam State University, he built a distinguished career at Northrop Grumman, Eastman Kodak, Preferred Care, and Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield. At Excellus, he served as Director of Data Platform and Integration, overseeing the deployment of a corporate-wide data platform for business intelligence and data science analysis.

Dave became involved with Family Promise in 2016 after attending an initial meeting about creating a local affiliate. Inspired by his pastor’s encouragement to say “yes” to bettering the world, he has remained committed to the mission ever since.

After retiring in 2024, Dave now dedicates more time to his family, including his wife, Linda, granddaughter Lilia, son Joshua, and daughter-in-law Tara. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and vacationing in Ellicottville, NY, where his family maintains a ski house built by his parents.
