Mike is currently a Deputy Commissioner in the Department of Social Services for

Ontario County. He oversees the Temporary Assistance and Workforce Development

departments, both of which provide services to low-income clientele and deliver

programming to address barriers to employment. Before working in DSS, Mike

performed maintenance and management duties at multiple Section 8 housing

complexes. He holds a master’s degree in counseling, with a focus on School

Counseling and Human Development.

Mike joined the Board of Family Promise of Ontario County in April of 2025 and is

currently a member of the Program Committee. Family Promise provided a great

opportunity to be a part of an agency dedicated to serving the needs of local families.
