2024 Bowl-A-Thon

Knock Down Pins to Lift Up Families

Family Promise of Ontario County will be hosting our first ever bowl-a-thon, at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua. Join us for bowling, dinner, raffles, prizes, and a whole lot of fun. 

On Saturday, April 13th 2024 Family Promise of Ontario County is hosting a Knock Down Pins to Lift Up Families Bowl-A-Thon at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua  from 4 to 7 pm.

All money raised will help support Family Promise of Ontario County programs. 

Cost is $40 per person or $200 per team of five, and will include bowling, shoes, (soft) drinks, and the finest of bowling cuisine... PIZZA and salad! 

Golf Club and Ball

The  1st ever annual Golf to End Family Homelessness event  will be taking place at Winged Pheasant Golf Links in Shortsville, NY on Saturday, September 30th 2023. Come join us for a FUN day of golf, games, food, raffles, and prizes.

Help us raise $23,000 in 2023 to provide first month's rent for those moving into new housing, or assistance to prevent families from losing their housing.

Help Us Move In (HUMI) provided $20,000 between 2021 and 2022 as seed funding for this program. Your matching gifts raised $60,000 that has been used to stabilize more families who do not meet the income criteria for Section 8 or other subsidy programs.

Thank you Clayton Homes for providing $30,000 in seed funding, and to you for contributing to the $15,000 match to help increase affordable housing in Ontario County.

$12,000 in seed funding was donated to FLX Properties to purchase and renovate a multi-family home.  Three permanent apartments will be in the home.  Family Promise graduates will be able to rent an apartment at Fair Market Rate.

We have received $25,000 and we raised a $15,000 match to fund a Prevention Case Manager to work with families on the waiting list so they can avoid losing their housing.  

Thank you Greater Rochester Health Foundation for funding a bilingual Case Manager & emergency housing.

Thank you to the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes for funding Case Management Services for our homeless families.

Thank you Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) for funding the monthly rent and utilities for two emergency apartments.

Thank you to Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield for providing $5,000 in seed funding for the healthy families program.
