On April 11th, our community will come together for more than just a fun day of bowling; we’ll be coming together to lift up families and build brighter futures.

Family Promise of Ontario County is proud to host our “Knock Down Pins to Lift Up Families” Bowl-A-Thon at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua, and we invite you to be part of this meaningful event.

This Bowl-A-Thon is about more than strikes and spares; it’s about stability, dignity, and opportunity for families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Every roll of the ball helps support our mission: to help families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

When you participate, you are directly supporting programs that create real, lasting change:

• Shelter – Providing safe, stable housing for families in crisis

• Prevention – Helping families avoid homelessness before it begins

• Diversion – Assisting families to keep them housed

• Stabilization – Supporting long-term independence and stability

How You Can Get Involved

There’s a place for everyone in this event; whether you’re a bowler, a business, or a community supporter:

• Bowl – Form a team or join as an individual

• Donate – Support a bowler or the event directly

• Sponsor – Partner with us to amplify your impact

Every contribution helps us move families closer to safety, stability, and independence.

Our vision is simple but powerful: a nation in which every family has a home and the chance to build a better future. Events like this Bowl-A-Thon make that vision possible by turning compassion into action.

Together, we are building more than programs; we are building pathways out of homelessness, systems of support, and a community that refuses to let families fall through the cracks.

Registration Made Easy

This year, we’re using a new platform: BOWLATHON.net - to make team sign-ups and fundraising easier than ever! To help things run smoothly, here’s a quick tip for registering:

Step 1: Create or join a team

Step 2: Once you’re on a team, you can complete your bowler registration and pay your registration fee (Credit, Debit, PayPal or Check)

That’s it! (Teams must be created first before registration fees can be paid.)

Fundraising made simple: Once your team is set up, your impact grows even more; friends, family, and supporters can donate directly on behalf of individual bowlers or to your entire team, making it easy to raise more for families in need.
