Donna has 30+ years of experience in IT and IT project management at Xerox Corp., in addition to several years of volunteer experience and part-time roles in the area of Finance.

Donna has been involved with Family Promise of Ontario County since mid-2018, first as a volunteer coordinator/liaison from her church, and also as a member of a Community networking committee. She joined the Family Promise staff as a part-time bookkeeper in mid-2020 and continues the liaison role between her church and Family Promise.

Having experienced, as a child, the trauma of unexpectedly losing my mother, and the subsequent chain of events that displaced us from our home, I understand the vital importance of family and community support that inspires hope and enables healing, leading to regaining family unity and a stable home. Unfortunately in our more mobile society, many lack the support of nearby family or connection to a community – this is the gap that Family Promise staff and volunteers endeavor to close by offering a similar personalized approach that supports families in their hour of need.

Donna holds a BA Mathematics & Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
