Rachel has more than 14 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a background in leadership, education, and community engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in Public History and most recently served as the Acting CEO of COVERD Greater Cincinnati, a nonprofit that gives out diapers to those in need. She has also taught nonprofit management courses at Wilmington College, helping students explore careers in mission-driven work.
Originally from the Cincinnati area, Rachel now lives in Canandaigua with her husband and their fur babies. One of her proudest accomplishments has been giving lectures throughout Europe aboard Viking Cruises, where she shared her passion for history with travelers from around the world.
Currently, she manages the Shill Family Center, overseeing Resident Assistants, shelter operations and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for families experiencing homelessness.
